Friday, March 14th, the Concert Band traveled to Cedar Ridge HS to perform at the Central District Band Festival.  They were judged by four experienced high school and college band directors.  After one and a half months of intense rehearsals, their hard work paid off with their achievement of an “Excellent” rating, the second highest rating possible.  The concert band has not received an “Excellent” rating at this festival since 2003.  This lays a good foundation for a “Superior” rating in the near future.  WAY TO GO SG BAND!!!
