These are the minutes for the September 2009 booster club meeting. Turn out was low this month. I hope more parents and students will join us next month. There will be snacks and extra credit for each person that attends. Please mark your calendars!

Amanda: Gave $2,000 to Treasurer 1 week prior
Uniform cleanings
Scheduled for Tuesday (9/15)
Should be returned by friday (9/18)
If you paid last year you do not have to pay this year
Band orders (shoes/socks/gloves/etx) are scheduled to come in coming in soon
Pit crew t-shirts have been delivered. Come get yours if you paid for one.

Competitions / Games
Away game this Friday, Tom will be driving (Western Guilford off friendly Rd.)
Be here at 6:15, get there at 7:15, back at 10:30

Practice this Saturday Sept 12th
Next home game (Sept 25th) is middle school night. Expecting a big turn out from 8th grade. Buddy system will be used.
Oct 2nd game is homecoming. Alumni will be playing in the band/guard.
First competition Oct 3rd @ Ledford
*** Need to ask for volunteers for this competition, send out an email with info.
*** Ask if anyone has ideas for truck/trailer. Trailer weighs 3,500 lbs and uses a 2 5/8″ ball. 5 Prong trailer plug. Trailer has electric brakes.
Next away game NE oct 16th (day before competition)
Ledford away game oct 30th (day before competition)
*** Tom not available, try to get a driver (Ask Hensley)

Trying to find a truck to pull the trailer for all upcoming events
Ms Crow has sewn the backdrops and skirt
Frame design has been completed and 1 frame has been completed
Pit is not as large. Timpani will be needed.

***Need water/cooler/ice for the competitions. Jama/Tom: water. MP: crackers. Dale: ice.
***Jama: complete marching band boxes (Wednesday Sept 24th during practice)
*** Tell students to bring money for competition food (lunch and dinner)
