I hope you all survived the snow/ice this week.  Today, Jan. 14^th  the band will practice, unless afterschool activities are cancelled, until 5pm.  I understand this is last minute so please let me know if your child can’t make it. 

The MLK Parade is this Monday, January 17^th.  The start time has changed again so students will meet at SG at 9am to dress and warm up.  The parade will begin at 11am down MLK Street in Greensboro.  This will count as their final exam which is 30% of their final grade. Very important for students to be on time and in attendance.  No make ups will be allowed.

Thursday, January 20^th  will be our end of the year banquet.  Parents and marching band/guard members are to attend a dinner and award ceremony in celebration of this year’s accomplishments.  It will be at 6:30pm in the Cafeteria.  Families should bring a side dish and a 2 liter drink.  No desserts please, that will be provided.
