Hello Everyone,

I wanted to remind you that Spring Band Camp, Guard and Drumline auditions begin tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24^th afterschool until 5pm.  Students must have rides.  We will practice every day until Friday, May 27^th.  We are going to be working on the music for next year’s show.   

Please remember to bring back the Form of Intent and the $30 general due payment which are due May 25^th.  I need this to hold your spot on the field.  Please let me know if you have any questions. 

Also, if you would like to go to the DCI Tournament of Champions Sunday, July 31^st, I need your $40 for your ticket.  Seats are filling up and I need to order by the end of this week.  I have attached that information as well. 

The band concert is next Tuesday, May 31^st at 7pm in the SGHS Auditorium.  Students should be at the school at 6:15pm.  They should wear black bottoms and a white top.  No jeans or t-shirts please.  All concert band students are required to perform.

This Thursday, May 26^th,  Mr. Gibson has asked that the band perform for the Century Club reception.  Some students will already be at school for leadership camp after spring camp.  I need some students to play for the reception.  We will play a few songs out of the chorale books.  It starts at 7pm so we will start playing at 6:40pm.  Concert black and white would be appropriate.  If you are able to play please let me know.

Lastly another reminder about Graduation.  All concert band students are required to perform at Graduation unless they are a Senior.  Students should arrive at the Greensboro Coliseum at 5pm, Saturday, June 11^th.  Students should wear concert black and white.  We should be done at 7:15pm.  Students will receive 2 compensation tickets for parents who would like to stay and attend graduation.  I should have those tickets to give out soon.
