Jamboree Information Monday, September 19th

Here is the information that I have for the Jamboree on Monday, September 19th.

The event begins at 5pm at SEGHS.

Here are some directions because there is construction going on at Woody Mill Road, so your GPS or Maps might not get you there the right way.

Option #1:
From  Hwy. 421 North towards Greensboro.  Go to the first stop light and turn right onto Hagan Stone Park Rd.  Go to the stop light and turn right onto Liberty Rd.  Go to the stop light and turn left onto Woody Mill Rd.  Take the first left onto Southeast School Rd. The school will be ahead.

Option #2:
From Hwy. 62 East/South to where it intersects with Liberty Rd.  Turn left onto Liberty Rd.  Go to the 1st stop light, just past the Food Lion, turn right onto Woody Mill Rd. Take the first left onto Southeast School Rd. The school will be ahead.   

Attached is a map of the school and it has a layout of where to park.  They ask you not to park at the middle school because that is where the buses park, plus it is far away!

Also attached is the schedule for the event.  We perform at 6pm but our dress and warm up times begin at 4:45pm. 

Our Schedule will be:

  • 3:30pm Students are released from 4th block to get dressed and pack instruments for the event.
  • 4pm Load buses and leave for SEHS
  • 4:45pm Arrive at SEHS and unload trailer, go to bathroom
  • 5:15pm Warm Up
  • 5:45pm End Warm Up and walk to gate. No cadences.
  • 5:55pm Gate Time
  • 6pm Perform.
  • After Performance  get undress and put on our show shirts. We will go to the stadium and watch other bands and eat dinner. Bring money! At least $10 for dinner and snacks.  There is a $5 meal plan that includes a main (ex. Hamburger), chips and a drink. 

For Monday Students need:

  • Black Marching/Dance Shoes
  • Black Socks
  • Gloves
  • Show Shirt
  • Jeans/Pants
  • Guard- Body Tight
  • Money for Dinner
  • Any T-shirt and shorts to wear under uniform
  • Positive and Excited Attitude!
