Concert Band is off to an exciting start. Southern is long over due for a superior rating from state contest.  Mrs. Batts has made it her goal to start a new tradition of superiority. March 23rd we will be traveling to Cedar Ridge High School for State Band Festival. During the semester, guest clinicians are scheduled to come and listen to our ensemble and give us advise on how to sound even better! Concert Dates:

• March 4th ~ 6:30pm Dinner and A Show at Community Baptist Church- 1330 Burnetts Chapel Rd- Down the road from Southern
• May 27th ~ 7pm in the SGHS Auditorium
• June 5th ~ 6pm at the Greensboro Coliseum *** BE THERE NO LATER THAN 5PM!
